EXPERIENCE

Before developing a creative concept I imagine the feeling someone has at the end of an experience. With Slice, it's the feeling of tasting dessert good enough to tell your friend about:

"Just stopped by Slice, it was real good pie!" 

​

I aimed to keep that feeling with me as I developed, designed* and executed this concept.

STORY

Making the story approachable and clear helps customers see themselves in it.

In my recruitment marketing experience, telling a career story served the same purpose when developing an employer brand.

CONTINUITY

I enjoy building creative strategies that weave content and experiences together to reemphasize key messages.

Style strengthens substance. 

​

The message I focused on is we serve real good pie by the slice. A consistent look and feel, whether it be in font, color, or scheme reinforces the idea of quality before a slice is served.

COMMUNITY

Peer-to-peer conversation builds brands. Developing the infrastructure for an ambassador program gives organizations a creative way to build loyalty with a customer base while also providing them with tools they can use to share more about their personal experience.

Recognition of customers, or employees, can expand the reach of your organization's message.

​

Customer testimonials, reviews, or features can be a helpful way for other individuals in that customer's network to experience your brand through the eyes of someone they trust.

DELIVER

I've always thought it'd be a cool job to come up with the names of food items on a menu, so here's my first shot.

​

With any brand or experience, I challenge myself to deliver quality.

 

A simple menu with a quick description narrows the scope to focus on the main thing:
